1. Guest use
You can use core Frequency playback without an account. Guest favorites, custom Studio journeys, onboarding state, and certain device preferences may be stored in your browser’s local storage. Clearing browser/site data can remove that local information.
2. Nerddi ID sign-in
If you choose to sign in, Frequency uses CentroShield/Nerddi ID OAuth. The server may receive the identity information authorized for the application, such as an account identifier, display name, and email address, and links it to a local Frequency account record.
3. Information Frequency can sync
For signed-in users, Frequency can store favorites, custom journey definitions and stages, audio/device preferences, and listening history such as session name, category, planned duration, listened duration, completion status, and timestamps.
4. Audio and microphone data
Frequency’s core tone and ambience engine is synthesized locally in the browser. The current application does not require microphone access for ordinary playback and does not upload generated session audio to provide the core service.
5. Session and security data
Frequency uses a secure server session to keep signed-in users authenticated. Security-related information such as OAuth state, PKCE verification data, and CSRF tokens may be processed temporarily to protect sign-in and account actions.
6. Offline/PWA storage
If you install or use the Progressive Web App, your browser may cache static application files such as styles, scripts, icons, the manifest, and the offline page. OAuth, account API, configuration, and installer routes are intentionally excluded from service-worker caching.
7. Data sharing and sale
Frequency is designed to use account data to provide the Frequency/Nerddi service. The application does not sell generated listening data or personal information to advertisers. Service infrastructure may necessarily process data to host, secure, and operate the product.
8. Your controls
You can remove individual listening-history entries or clear listening history from My Frequency. You can remove favorites and delete custom Studio journeys. Guest/local data can be cleared through browser site-storage controls. Account-level Nerddi ID controls are managed through the identity service.
9. Changes
If the product begins collecting materially different categories of data, this notice should be updated before or when that functionality is released.
